Calculator Review Methodology

Last updated: August 8, 2026

He-Sab calculators combine programmed formulas with explanatory content. Our review process focuses on calculation logic, test cases, source relevance, and clear disclosure of limitations.

Formula review

We review the formula or calculation logic used by each calculator and compare it with the intended mathematical, financial, health, engineering, or regulatory method.

Result testing

Calculators are tested with representative input values and edge cases where practical. Automated and build-time checks may also be used to detect regressions.

Source review

When a calculation depends on a published rule, classification, fee, eligibility requirement, or regulatory definition, we seek an authoritative source and link to it where practical.

Limits of calculator results

Calculator outputs are estimates based on the entered values and implemented logic. They may not include every fee, exemption, personal circumstance, contractual term, or regulatory condition.

Users should verify important decisions with the relevant official authority or a qualified professional.
