Enter your date of birth. The calculator subtracts it from today's date component by component — days first, then months, then years — borrowing correctly across month boundaries and accounting for leap years, the same way official age determinations work.

There are several conventions for borrowing days across months of different lengths. Differences of a day can appear near month ends; the year count and total days should always agree.
