छूट

छूट के बाद अंतिम कीमत।

A 25% discount sounds great — but what do you actually pay at the register? This calculator turns any discount percentage into the two numbers that matter: the final price and the amount you save.

यह कैसे काम करता है

Enter the original price and the discount percentage. The calculator computes the saving as a share of the price, subtracts it, and shows both figures — useful for checking store math and comparing offers.

सूत्र

Saving = Price × d ÷ 100 | Final = Price − Saving

d is the discount percentage. Equivalently, Final = Price × (1 − d/100).

हल किया उदाहरण

An item priced at 200 with a 25% discount: you save 200 × 0.25 = 50 and pay 150 at checkout.

सामान्य प्रश्न

How do stacked discounts work — 20% then an extra 10%?

They multiply, not add. 20% then 10% means paying 0.80 × 0.90 = 72% of the price — a 28% total discount, not 30%. Apply the calculator twice to verify.

How do I find the original price from a sale price?

Divide by (1 − discount). If a sale price is 150 after 25% off, the original was 150 ÷ 0.75 = 200. Multiplying by 1.25 gives the wrong answer (187.5).

Is '25% off' the same as 'pay 75%'?

Yes, exactly — sometimes reframing it that way makes mental math easier: 75% of 200 is three quarters, i.e. 150.
