Saudi Nitaqat Calculator 2026

Estimate the Nitaqat Developed band for 2026, 2027 and 2028 using the HRSD activity, entity workforce and weighted Saudization coefficient.

The Saudi Nitaqat Calculator 2026 estimates the Nitaqat Developed band of an establishment entity for April 2026, April 2027 and April 2028. It follows the current Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development activity table and the official band-range equation. The tool is intended for planning and comparison; the official HRSD systems remain the authority for the establishment's actual Nitaqat status.

How it works

Select the establishment activity currently available in the HRSD Nitaqat calculator, enter the total workforce of the entity, and enter the entity's final weighted Saudization coefficient. The calculator then applies the published coefficients for that activity to calculate the Green Low, Green Medium, Green High and Platinum starting thresholds for each of the three years and classifies the entered coefficient against those limits.

The formula

Minimum band threshold = m × ln(total entity workforce) + b. The coefficient m is the fixed curve value for the activity and band, while b is the fixed activity/band value for 2026, 2027 or 2028. He-Sab rounds each calculated threshold to two decimal places before classification, matching the verified live HRSD calculator behavior.

The workforce input is the actual total workforce at entity level and must be at least 6 for this calculator. The Saudization input is the final entity Saudization coefficient, not simply an unweighted Saudi-headcount percentage, because HRSD states that special worker weights are considered. The current live HRSD calculator exposes 41 selectable activities. The 2026 guide also contains a City Cleaning activity table that is not currently selectable in the live calculator, so He-Sab keeps it as source data but does not expose it as a user option.

Worked example

For the Industries activity with 400 workers, the verified live HRSD thresholds for April 2026 begin at 25.15% for Green Low, 33.07% for Green Medium, 36.43% for Green High and 42.33% for Platinum. With a 37.00% Saudization coefficient, the establishment is therefore Green High in 2026, Green Medium in 2027 and Green Low in 2028.

Frequently asked questions

Does this calculator show the official Nitaqat status of my establishment?

No. It reproduces the published formula and activity coefficients for planning. The official HRSD/Qiwa records determine the actual status.

Why do I enter the Saudization coefficient instead of the number of Saudi employees?

HRSD states that the entity Saudization coefficient considers special worker weights. A simple Saudi-employees divided by total-employees calculation may therefore differ from the official weighted coefficient.

Can I use the calculator for five workers or fewer?

The current HRSD calculator is designed for entities with 6 workers or more. Its notice states that an establishment with 5 workers or fewer requires one Saudi worker.

Why can the Nitaqat band change between 2026, 2027 and 2028 without changing my inputs?

The new phase applies progressively changing fixed values across the three years, so the minimum threshold for a band may increase from one year to the next.

Why is City Cleaning not in the selectable activity list?

The 2026 procedural guide contains coefficients for City Cleaning, but the current live HRSD calculator does not expose it as a selectable activity. He-Sab mirrors the live selectable list.

Which value does He-Sab use for the Industries Green High threshold at 400 workers in 2026?

He-Sab uses 36.43%, which is produced by the published coefficients and is also displayed by the live HRSD calculator. A 37.93% value appears in one printed guide example, but it is not used by the live calculator.

Independent planning tool. The new Nitaqat Developed phase starts in 2026 and spans three years. Always verify the establishment's registered activity, weighted Saudization coefficient and official Nitaqat result through HRSD/Qiwa before making hiring, visa, compliance or investment decisions.
